for the versatile item contest at Simply Feminine.

The items I chose were as basic as it gets; distressed jeans, a white tee, and a red cardigan. I considered taking the idea of basics, simple pieces whose focus is versatility, and instead use some more dramatic versions, hooded riding hood style, slouchy tee, jeans with actual holes in them. I still might... because that sounds kind of badass, if not really practical for everyday wear. I ended up going with the simple pieces for that reason, practicality, because as cool and artistic as runway fashion is, it's more art that happens to be hung on a body (to use a slightly loose interpretation of the word when looking at models).
 
That and I am a little hungover...
